*  Ekin started her acting career during high school years at Ankara College. In 1992, she graduated from Ankara

    Conservatoire Theatre Department of Hacettepe University. During her education, she played in various TV series

    on Turkish Radio Television. (TRT)

*  In 1993, she became a tenured actress at Trabzon State Theatre.

*  In 2000 / 01 season, she joined the Ankara State Theatre.

*  In 2005 - 2006 she took part in TV series such as “Blood Wedding”              and “The Fake Princess” 

    on Show TV.

*  She started translating plays from English to Turkish in 2005. She has translated 52 plays so far. She’s also 

    making movie and documentary translations for Turkish Radio and Television. (TRT)

*  In 2007, she educated camera acting at “The New York Film Academy” (NYFA) in Los Angeles. 

*  In 2008, she received an invitation from “The Open Fist Theatre” in Los Angeles. So “The Turkish State Theatre”

    sent her oficially to Los Angeles to improve her knowledge and  gain experience for six months. In that period 

    she participated to various activities and workshops (Mask Making and Movement to Music) that took place in

    “The Open Fist Theatre” and did researches. Also she attended to the “Suzuki Method and Viewpoints” 

    intensive workshop of “Siti Company - New York” which took place in Los Angeles, Eric Morris’ acting classes

    and intensive course of “Meisner Acting Method” in Joanne Baron and D.W Brown’s studio. In addition to these

    she attended to camera acting classes at Susan Batson’s “Black Nexxus”. The tutor was Carl Ford, son of Mrs.

    Batson. Also in that period she had a chance to watch several plays in most important theatres of Los Angeles

    such as “Geffen Playhouse”, “Actors’ Gang” (Artistic Director - Tim Robbins), “Strasberg Theatre” and “Open Fist 

    Theatre” ...

*  She still works as an actress in “Turkish State Theatre” in Ankara.
